As one of its core values which is God fearing, St. Ambrose Institute of Health Sciences led the way of the cross on Good Friday the 7th of April, 2023 marching through the streets of Kagadi town.
Hundreds of believers from the Catholic and Anglican Churches on Friday joined a procession for the public way of the cross from St. Luke’s Church of Uganda through the town streets to St. Mary’s Kagadi Catholic Parish in Kagadi town.
There were a total of 14 stopovers or prayer stations and at each stopover, the special scripture was read before delivering a brief sermon with an act by student Nurses and Midwives from the institute
The church leaders who were all full of praise for St. Ambrose students appreciated the institute administration for bringing up students in a line of religion. The religious leaders who led the procession included Monsignor Father Peter Kaberenge, the vicar of Kagadi vicariate and Canon Reverend Teo Irumba, the Archdeacon of Kagadi Archdeaconry as well as other clergies.
