About St. Ambrose Institute of Health Sciences

Background

St Ambrose Institute of Health Sciences is a private, not for profit institute destined to address the shortage of Health personnel in Uganda and beyond.

Our primary goal is to address the challenges in the delivery of quality health care education. Therefore we endeavor to train skilled, self-motivated and qualified professionals respectful of diverse values.

The institute is housed in enough permanent buildings, these include

Hostels

The entire campus is enclosed within a chain link fence with a well-kept compound and bituminized walkways.

Environment

The physical and social environment is conducive to learning, development of the skills and competencies students need for excelling.

The institute neighbors with Kagadi government Hospital and border with St. Ambrose Charity Health Centre IV, which facilities provide conducive practicum sites for the students’ skills training and experience.
