Background:

• 2002-2007: Makerere University Kampala, Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB)
• 2007-2009: Mulago National Referral Hospital, Kampala, internship in the pediatrics, medical, obstetrics, and surgical departments
• May 2010-date: St Ambrose Charity Health Centre, Kagadi

Principle Nursing Officer & Head of St. Margaret Ward

Name: Komugisha Boniconsilla

Background:

• 2009: Joined St. Ambrose Charity Health Centre
• She is the In-charge of the Store and Pharmacy. Bonnie is also our contact person
• Holds a Bachelors Degree in Public Health from Mountains of the Moon University
• She went to Ibanda school of Midwifery and Comprehensive Nursing. She went to St Kizito High School Bathany for both her O’ & A’ Level
• She is a good counselor, very passionate about singing and visiting the patients during her offs and leave days

Background:

• Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences
• Research project in the prevalence of intestinal helminthes in pediatrics presenting with worm-like infections (Mubende district, southwestern Uganda)
• 2011-date: St. Ambrose Charity Health Centre, Kagadi

Head of St. Alex Ward

Name: KUNIHIRA MARGRET

Background:

• Kagando School of Nursing and Midwifery in Kasese district- Uganda, diploma in nursing
• Began working at St. Ambrose Charity Health Centre as a volunteer for a period of four months. She was later confirmed as a permanent employee at the health centre.
